Last year's sportsman's dinner was a fabulous evening when we were entertained by speakers Gordon Smith and Tam Cowan. Due to the generosity of all those who attended and contributed to the raffle and auction on the evening.
I had the pleasure, privilege and honour as RWM of Lodge St Conval Giffnock 1359 to present a cheque for £7,750.00 to MND Scotland on the 9th January 2019. They were overwhelmed by the amount, which they say will make a big difference to the work and research which they carry out to assist all who suffer from MND in Scotland.
This is a fabulous amount of money to present to any charity and we should be extremely proud of this as Freemasons. Once again I must thank everyone who contributed in any small way to achieving this.
